Ponari Builders New Ceiling With Soundproof Insulation
The team at Ponari Builders recently completed a new ceiling in Muswell Hill. The ceiling was to help our client reduce noise or sound from floor above.
To achieve this we fitted the Joist frame at the standard 40 cm apart.
The joists were filled in between with 100mm sound proof insulation.
After the insulation was inserted we covered the ceiling with sound proof plasterboards.
The final finishing step was plaster skimming the ceiling and making ready for painting.
We painted the newly plastered ceiling with one coat new plaster paint.
To finish off we painted the ceiling with 2 coats of emulsion matt.
